Is a restaurant dedicated to the proposition that the Hudson Valley is one of the world's great culinary regions.
Fish & Game's quarterly newsletters began in the winter of 2013, explaining the food and drink and profiling the brilliant producers who contribute extraordinary ingredients to the restaurant. This expanded version casts a wider net: more stories about more subjects told by more people in more varied media. It will tend to be about food, but may also veer wildly across the cultural landscape according to our fickle whims.

FISH & GAME is housed in a gorgeously renovated 19th century blacksmith's shop, in the heart of New York's Hudson Valley. The restaurant is the collaborative venture of co-chefs Zakary Pelaccio (author of Eat With Your Hands), Jori Jayne Emde, and Kevin Pomplun and their partner Patrick Milling Smith. The restaurant celebrates the bounty of the Hudson Valley by offering an often changing menu based on the highest quality, freshest ingredients the Valley has to offer. The menu reflects our commitment to using only humanely raised and locally sourced products.
The wine list has a particular focus on terroir expressive wines produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail menu focuses on original, seasonal creations.

Fish & Game, in collaboration with James Beard-nominated architect Michael Davis, opened Back Bar in Davis' beautiful shop in the summer of 2015. Soulful cooking, natural wines, quality booze, and a convivial atmosphere: everything you need, nothing you don't.
